Introduction: Homemade Vape Pen
Hello everybody!
this is my homemade vape pen.
i made this just to test if it would work and show everyone how simple it is to make.
AND PLEASE BEFORE COMMENTING THAT THIS IS DANGEROUS REMEMBER THIS SITE IS CALLED INSTRUCTABLES! SO PEOPLE SHARE WHAT THEY MAKE ALSO IAM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS IF YOU TRY TO RECREATE THIS AND IF YOU DO PLEASE MAKE SURE TO USE THE RIGHT TOOLS! (BTW THIS IS FOR TEST PURPOSES ONLY!)
Oke so these are the tools i used to make this:
- BATTERY: 2200mah rechargable battery (3.6V) (this battery was from a power bank to charge youre phone.)
- COIL: A spring from a pen (as i said this is for test purposes only and a pen spring should not be used and was just to test, it works fine but i will be replacing it for heat resistend wire later on!
BODY: i used the body of the power bank and the head of an old flashlight for the platform with coil.
WIRE TERMINAL: i used a wire terminal to connect the wire to the coil this also makes it easy to replace the coil later on.
BUTTON: i used a switch as button it is much better to use a press and hold like button but i didnt have one so i just used an on and off switch.
Other stuff like springs to connect the battery and the caps...
Step 1: How It Works:
How vaping works:
Its is really simple you have a battery that connects to the button and a coil,
there is cotton or a wick around the coil when you drip the liquid onto the coil and press the button the coil heats up and vaporizes the liquid.
the more watts you have the more smoke you will get.
Step 2: Inside the Vape Pen.
Here are pictures of how i made it i made a couple of tests before this one.
this is the final result, i wrapped the body of the vape pen with alluminium from a can of soda.

im trying to build my own, do you think that I could use half-inch PVC for the body instead? and instead of the flashlifght head could i use an pvc end cap?

Thank you! I've been looking for an alternative to buying nichrome wire for a rope sinjer. This helped a lot. I never would've thought of a pen spring.

If you don't like the instructable, move along. The inventor posted cautions, and indicated that the coil is the issue. Unless you have something constructive to add, STFU. Many of us are looking for what others have done to get ideas. You start making this safe, you stifle the development. Post the cautions, explain the weaknesses. Tell them to wear safety glasses.

I understand what you are saying, but posting this when we all know it is highly dangerous and some ppl will attempt to recreate this is irresponsible.
