In this instructable im going to show you how to turn your xbox controller into a USB one so you can use the memory card slots as an action replay.
What most people don't realize is that the xbox controllers are actually USB controllers in disguise.

Step 1: Prep
First you'll need to gather some stuff
1. an xbox controller or anything else that has xbox memory card slots
2. A USB cable like from a mouse or another piece of hardware you are willing to cut up
3. Wire strippers
4. Scissors
5. A windows PC
6. Action replay software(http://uk.codejunkies.com/downloads/XBOXAR_USsetup1_31.zip)

Step 2: Step1
Splice up the ADAPTER not the CABLE and seperate the red,white,green, and black wires and strip them, do the same for the USB cable. wire up as shown in the diagram. Then tape it up to protect the wires
Step 3: Step 3
Install the AR software, once done plug in the controller the memory card slots should come up as "Unknown" let it search for the software. Once it does that it should say something like windows couldn't find blah blah blah, select the option that lets you browse for the drivers then goto C:/program files/Datel/Action replay/xbox/Drivers and press ok it should install
Step 4:
Once thats done goto start menu, All programs, Action replay xbox and start up the program then VOILA! it is done
