Homemade Hair Clips Out of Ribbon

Step 1: Step 1: Fold a Loop

Cut off two 9cm ribbons; four 6cm ribbons and two smaller 9cm ribbons. Stick a double-sided tape in the middle of the wide 9cm ribbon. Make a loop with one end sticked to the middle.

Step 2: Step 2: Stick the Other End of the Ribbon

Make a loop with the other end sticked to the middle. Fold the other pink 9cm ribbon in the same. Cut off a triangle shape from two ends of four 6cm ribbons.

Step 3: Step 3: Lay the Folded Ribbons

Stick a double-sided tape in the middle of 6cm ribbon. Stick a ribbon of different color with the triangle shape aligned; place the other two respectively. Lay the two folded 9cm ribbons on the four sticked ribbons.

Step 4: Step 4: Stick Two Smaller Ribbons

Stick a double-sided tape to the smaller pink ribbon. Make sure that the pink one is thinner than the coffee one. Stick the pink ribbon obliquely on the coffee ribbon. Cross fold the ribbons.

Step 5: Step 5: Make a Knot

Make the upper side ribbon down through the loop and tie up the ribbons. Adjust the top angle by slightly squeezing. Open a hair clip.

Step 6: Step 6: the Ending Work

Place the open hair clip on the back of the folded ribbons. Fold the knotted ribbon to fix the clip with the knot on the obverse side. Stick two ends of the ribbons and cut off the redundant.
