Introduction: Honey Vanilla Brown Sugar Lip Scrub
Hey guys! Make your own all-natural lip scrub with sugars and spices easily found in your own kitchen! With a bit of tinkering, you can even make it taste like a snickerdoodle cookie. My first foray into homemade beauty products, first via Squareknot and now Instructables. <3 This makes roughly two little servings that I packed into two small 13 mL jars.

Materials:
1 small mixing bowl
1 little spreader to mix with
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons white granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of honey
1/4 teaspoon (or just a few drops) of vanilla extract
3 or more dashes of cinnamon
Step 1: Add Both Sugars in a Small Bowl
Step 2: Mix!
The brown sugar I used had a tad bit of moisture in it, which caused it to clump a bit, so you might do a bit of chopping when mixing. This'll go away when you add the other ingredients. Just look at that adorable little pineapple spreader. <3
Step 3: Add the Olive Oil, Then Honey, Then Mix. Oh, and Add the Vanilla Extract Too.
It's helpful to mix each time you add an ingredient to get a good consistency. Also: Sooooo, I totally wanted to use a little 'bebe 1/2 teaspoon for this photo. So yep. Done.
Step 4: Add a Couple Dashes of Cinnamon to Taste
I started out with three light taps, and added more from there until it tasted almost like a snickerdoodle cookie. Mmmmmm.
Step 5: Mix Super Well!
Step 6: Transfer to Little Containers for Friends
And make sure the lids go on tightly, don't want to attract ants in the summertime!
Step 7: And You're Done!
To use, simply rub the sugar on your lips gently, then lick off the rest! Hope you enjoyed my guide!
Psssst, for anyone who's curious, I help build this!
