Have you ever left home and thought dam i left my headphones at home?
Well no worries this will solve your problem in one, just a simple insertion of speakers into the lining of the hoodie and your off.

This is probably most usefull if you do a lot of sports (e.g. running, cycling) and you like to listen to music while doing it. Total cost less then �
Advantages:
- No more worry about headphones
- Headphones dont keep falling out of your ears
- Show off to your friends

Disadvantages:
- I wouldn't walk through an airport with this on..
- If your in a crowd it can annoy people
- Hard to wash (Hand wash recommended)

Also it doesnt cancel out background noise but you can decide if thats a good or bad thing for you.

Step 1: Tools and Equipment

This took me about 2 to 3 hours to complete. If you get bored of it you can always cut the inner lining of the hood out and cut the stitches and you'll be left with a perfectly normal hoodie

You'll need basic knowledge of soldering and sewing.

Tools:
Sewing needle
Scissors
Sharp Knife
Soldering iron
Lighter (optional)
Wire cutters
Sewing pins

Equipment:
- A hoodie that you don't mind canibalising and has a double layered hood (about 90% of hoodies). I got mine from Primark (cheap clothes shop in england) for �tshring whichever you prefer
- Thin multithread wire, recommended 2 * 2m of different colours
- String that matches colour of hoodie
- Headphone jack (3.5mm unless your music player of choice differs)

Step 2: Placing the Speakers

First find out where you'de like your speakers by putting the hoodie on, and make a small mark to remind yourself.

The inner lining is usually sawn in the middle so slowly cut away the stitches. This can be done easily by slighlty stretching the fabric apart and cutting the thread using a pair of scissors .
Then make a whole in one of the lower corners of the inner hood for the wire to come out of ( I did mine on the left hand side).

Then solder wires, long enough to come out of one of the hoods lower corners, to the speakers and position your speakers inside the hood using sewing pins. Once they are secured try on the hoodie and make sure you're happy with their position. If not rearrange until you are. Then sew them in so that it remains in place, I did this by making a spiderweb sort of pattern around the back of it just by constantly taking the thread from one side of the speaker to the other and slowly going round in a circle.

Once the speaker is in place sew the wire to the inner hood along the edges so that they dont move about and it doesnt feel uncomfortable. But make sure it comes out the hole before you start sewing or you have a problem on your hands.

Step 3: Placing the Headphonejack

Place a small hole in the corner of the pocket to put the wire through.

Now you have two wires that need joining up - the one from the speaker and the one from the headphone jack. Put heatshrink round one of the wires but don't shrink it yet. Adjust the wire so it comfortably reaches from the hole in the hood to the hole in the pocket going along the zip (this is important you'll find out in the next step why).

First twist the wires together and check it works by putting some music on. If your pleased then solder together and place heatshrink over it.

Step 4: Finishing Off

Now if you look at your zip you'll see theres also some extra piece of cloth there. This is the place where we're going to hide our wire so its not out of place.

Simply pinch the cloth and the zip together with the wire in between (at the top near the hood) and sew along until you get down to the bottom hole and your finished.
