Introduction: Horseshoe Drink Stand

About: I am an amateur do it your selfer. I enjoy working with wood and light metal work in my spare time.
I built this to put between lounge chairs to hold cans or bottles.

Step 1: Stand

I used an old throwing horseshoe for the stand

Step 2: Flat Bar

Welded a piece of flat bar to stand so the round bar had a place to go.

Step 3: Round Bar

Added the round bar for the stand.

Step 4: Horseshoes

Welded 2 horseshoes upside down with a thin plate in the middle to separate cans or bottles.

Step 5: Top of Stand

Plate on top of pipe to hold the drinks. 2 pieces of flat bar on each end to separate the horseshoes from the plate.

Step 6: Prime & Paint

Stand is 25 and half inches tall. Drink holders are 4 inches deep. Works perfect.
