Introduction: House of Cards
This will be the most amazing house of cards you will build in your life!
Step 1: What You Need
Flat surface (preferably carpet)
deck of cards (15 cards per story)
steady hand
Step 2: "The Lean 2"
Lean two cards together vertically (forming a triangle) with the bottom edges one inch apart and the top edges flush.
Step 3: The Half Bridge
On one face side of the triangle, create a bridge with two other cards: one horizontal, one vertical.
Step 4: The Bridge
Repeat on the opposite side.
Step 5: Uno Mas
Parallel and directly to the side about two inches away, repeat steps 1 through 3.
Step 6: The Ceiling
Bridge gap between two structures with three cards running perpendicular to existing structure.
Step 7: Build It Up High
Repeat steps 1 through 5 on top of existing structure at a 90 degree angle to existing structure. See how many stories you can build!

YES! perfect! now my house of cards can be more than a triangle! i managed to build a 3 level pyramid of cards once, i find that the good old UNO cards are the best for card houses, there's something about their surface that wont let them slip...

Nice.
Green Jelly. I haven't listened to them since I was at school.
Probably because they're not the sort of music that's any good after the first few times, until fifteen years later.
This is neat!
I've only done single depth layers or pyramids before. I'd not thought of doing squares.
It's like Jenga.

About 3 years ago, I made a house of cards (one story) that supported just over 8kg. (It was actually hard to find places for the wieghts) The trick is to do the lean, but instead of using one card on each side, use 7 or more. Then repeat. For the ceiling, put as many cards on as you can, they help distribute the weight for one, but also add enough weight to keep it from falling initally.

There are other ways to make card houses but this is unique with the single vertical cards.

If I did this, it would probably all knock down. But awesome job, if I do it on carpet I might succeed!
