How to Make a Simple Popsicle Stick Trap

This instructable shows you how to make a simple trap that servearly frightenes the person who activates it.

Step 1: Gather Materials.

All you need is one size or popsicle sticks. If you want it to scare the person more by making it louder, use the bigger sticks. If you're making a trap that more hurts the person (not really), use the small sticks. In the tutorial, I used the bigger sticks because it's faster.

Step 2: Lay Out Your Sticks on the Door.

Your top of the door should allow you to fit sticks in there. All you do is lay out your sticks like I did. So, place one, then another one on top, then one below that one, and continue the pattern. You can't do this with the smaller sticks most likely, so just lay them out if you're using the small sticks. When you're finished, you should have like a trail of sticks like the second picture shows you. Most likely, the sticks at the corner will not fall, but, it's your choice.

Step 3: Add More Sticks to the Trap.

Place like a stack of 5 sticks at the tip of the popsicle sticks to make it flip and hurt more. This will make some louder, and some no difference in sound. Then, place a stack of like 10 popsicle sticks at the back of the sticks to make it come crashing down faster. This will make it a lot louder depending on how much you put. For this step, you can also use like some other weights, but for this tutorial, I only used popsicle sticks. Then, you're finished!! If you want to add something else to it, go right ahead!
