Intro: How to Make a Wand

This easy tutorial will teach you how to make an awesome prop. Wether it's for a costume or just a boredom buster, this is an easy to make prop.

STEP 1: Materials

A stick Whittling tools Optional: paint Hot glue Sandpaper

STEP 2: Whittling to the Bone

Mark a point for the grip by cutting a line around where your grip ends. Then whittle all the way do from the grip. Make sure not cut your finger. Unfortunately I learned that the hard way(see pictures).

STEP 3: Sanding It

Get your sandpaper and sand it down all the way. Make it nice and smooth.

STEP 4: Decorating

Get some paint and paint it. Before you do that, add some hot glue for a more firm grip. Then you can do whatever you like.
