Introduction: How to Make Pavlova
Pavlova is a sweet cake from New Zealand and Australia that is healthy too. I mean, come on. Who doesnt like a sweet, healthy cake? It's good for Christmas because you can decorate it with kiwis and strawberries (Green and Red).

Step 1: Ingredients
Ingredients:
4 egg whites
pinch of salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. vinegar
Sliced fruit
Cool Whip in a can
Utensils:
Wax paper
pan
bowl(s)
measuring spoons
Spatula or wooden spoon
4 egg whites
pinch of salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. vinegar
Sliced fruit
Cool Whip in a can
Utensils:
Wax paper
pan
bowl(s)
measuring spoons
Spatula or wooden spoon
Step 2: Getting Started
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F and line a baking pan with waxed paper. If you'd like, you can trace a 7" bowl on the wax paper to mark where your pavlova is going to be.
Step 3: Mix!
In a medium bowl, take your eggs and seperate the yolk from the whites. Beat your egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Add 1/3 cup of the sugar and beat until sugar is dissolved and the mixture is very thick. Add the rest of the sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition. When the sugar is dissolved and the mixture stiff, add the vanilla and vinegar. The mixture should be thick and glossy, like a meringue.
Step 4: Put on Pan
Spoon the meringue into the circle traced on the wax paper.Using the back of a spoon, spread out the meringue evenly, within the circle, building up the sides.
Step 5: Bake
Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until firm to the touch. Turn off the oven and cool the pavlova in the oven for about 30 more minutes, leaving the door open an inch.
Step 6: Almost Done!
Once you have your cooled "pav" use your canned Cool Whip and spread out evenly over the pavlova. Make designs if necessary. Decorate with fruits such as kiwi, strawberry, banana, and many more.
Step 7: Surve and Enjoy!
Cut into wedges and serve immediately. If any left overs, put in fridge. Enjoy your Australian pavlova!
