Step 1: Ingredients

You'll need 8 grams of sodium hydroxide and 5 grams of magnesium. Powder both of the substances up and mix them together.

Step 2: Lighting and Conserving

Light it up with a blow torch. To stop the flames cover it with the lid and then let it die out. Now then you'll have small nuggets of sodium metal. to conserve it you just need to put it in mineral oil.
