Have you got a bath that is so rusty that you think it cant be saved, so you put up with the rust and cover it up with bath mats because you cant remove the bath? Well, I did, but I found my saviour!
Its called Galmet RustPaint!

Step 1: Clean the Bath

Clean the bath with liquid sugar soap and wipe dry. Allow the rusty parts to dry overnight.

Step 2: Spray Paint the Bath

Wipe out the bath with a dry cloth and remove all fluff. Get a straight piece of cardboard to catch overspray.
Shake the can well.
Spray the rusty parts first, being careful not to cause drips. Lightly spray the rest of the bath so you have an even coloured bath. Then respray the rust. Let dry overnight and use your neighbours shower! In the morning spray the whole bath again, using the cardboard to protect tiles or taps, and spray the rust until there is a good coating on it.

Step 3: Let Dry

Let the bath dry for the rest of the day, then enjoy a bath/shower in a beautiful restored bath!

Step 4: Touch Up

Every morning for a week, inspect the bath and see if it needs more paint. With severe rust, the paint can flake off with the rust, over time. I always keep a can handy. Its good for LOTS of things! Laundry troughs, washing machines, tumble driers, old hand basins....
