I've been making teacup candles from old cups, and wax for a while now and I've finally decided to get up off of the couch and make an instructable to share with you guys! This candle is fairly easy and only takes around 20 minutes to make. So thank you guys for clicking and I hope you enjoy!

Step 1: Materials Needed

For this project, you will need...

Old wax (enough to fill up your teacup, and doesn't have to be old necessarily)
Measuring cups
Small pot (big enough for your measuring cup to fit in)
Candle wicks w/ tabs (approximately 3")
Any size teacup/mug
Fragrance (optional)

Step 2: Preparing Your Wax

First, fill up your small pot with 2 cups of water and put on the stove, set it to medium. Next, break up your wax into small chunks so that it won't take as long to melt. Your water should be boiling in no time and you'll see that your wax is starting to melt. When your wax is all melted take your fragrance and add a couple drops of your desired fragrance.

Step 3: Preparing Your Teacup

Place your wick with its tab into the middle of the cup. To make the process a lot easier I took a nail file and put a hole in the middle with a screwdriver.Take the end of your wick and stick it through the small hole you just made.This step is not required but I would recommend it.

Step 4: Putting the Wax Into the Cup

Take your wax (careful it's hot) and slowly pour into your teacup. Make sure that you are not hitting the edges or nail file in the process.

Step 5: Wait...Cut...Enjoy!!!

Now you have to wait for your candle to dry. The process can take up to 2 hours so put it in a place where it won't get bumped. Once your candle is dry you can cut the wick up to 1/2 in from the candle. Now your room will smell like a pumpkin spice latte in an actual cup!
