Introduction: How to Assemble the New Tiled Rubik's 4x4x4 (AKA Rubik's Revenge) (2016)
I couldn't find a step by step for this anywhere, so hopefully this helps anyone with the same trouble I was having
Step 1: Primary Piece
Unscrew either of the two mechanisms available and place your primary piece onto the sphere as shown.
Make sure to align the black spacer's central column around one of the primary piece's three jutting edges.
Step 2: First Face
complete the first face as shown; notice the black spacers in between the center posts and mechanisms.
Step 3: Bulk Built
Follow this pattern around the entire cube.
Step 4: Rubik's Resolved
Stretch apart the middle of the cube until you can fit the last piece in.

this may be a wierd question but how can you disassemble the core?

It has kinda helpful because I thought I needed to put the edge piece last instead of the center piece but more in-depth instructions would help

Did you ever get the last piece in? I think more in depth instructions would have been better. I assembled the cube with the colours in the correct order, but I can't get the last piece in. Much like the image that Rhyskersh posted.

I did! The last peice will go in if you just stretch apart the center of the cube a bit. You may be having trouble because your primary peice may be blocking the opening you left for the last peice. The only way to get the last peice in is to shove it in there after you stretch it apart. If you want me to give you specifics I'll do my best but I don't have the actual cube anymore

It broke apart while i was solving it, managed to put all the pieces back in but this one. Does it make a difference i assembled with the colours not in the right place is that the problem?

Nah it doesn't matter if the colors are off. If you pull those two blue tiles on the bottom left toward the outside of the cube, and the yellow and orange tiles on the other side of the hole in the opposite direction, hold those tiles open and slide the peice under the black prongs coming off of the blue tiles. If you do it right, it'll slide right in place and lock in, you'll know when it's in

OK, but there's a unique piece in your pictures that I also have and I have no idea where is fits and you don't refer to it? Where is it supposed to fit in?

Never mind. I see what it for now. You've put yours together wrong. You left it out. Without the cube gets out of shape inside and locks up constantly.

you didn't mention where to place that little piece neither, i'm stuck with the same problem, would you help plz?

Hey, when I first wrote this tutorial I did put it together incorrectly by leaving out that piece. I've now added another step that should clear up your trouble. If not, feel free to ask me for help

Wow. So that is what the inside of a 4x4 rubik's cube looks like. Thanks for sharing.
