Introduction: How to Build a Bat House

Supplies Needed

-Drill

-Circular saw

-Sander

-Nail gun

-Staple gun

-Stain

-Weather proof sealant

-Staples

-Nails

-Wood glue

-Sanded plywood

-Deer netting

-Table saw

Step 1: Cutting

Cut the Plywood in 6 piece

Cut one pies 26 inches long 24 inches wide half an inch thick(back)

cut the second and third piece into 22 inches long and 1 inch wide(sides)

cut the fourth piece into 18 inches long and 24 inches wide then

cut the fifth piece into 3 1/2 inches long 24 inches wide(tops)

Step 2: Glue the Sides Together

Take the 22 inch long and 1 inch wide pieces and glue them to the base as shown

Step 3: Placing Deer Netting

Put deer netting on the inside of the bird house and staple it down.

Step 4: Glue the Top On

put the two top pieces on as shown have the bigger one on the top corners then put the smaller one 1/2 inch below the bigger one

Step 5: Nailing and Staining the Wood

Use nail gun to put in nails to secure the top and sides together

Then stain 2 coats of Bulgarian oak stain

Then put the clear weather proof stain on the wood about 3-4 coats
