Introduction: How to Build a Pc
here is a finished product of the pc, this is what the inside should look like when we are done!
Supplies
these are the tools we will need, from left to right; Thermal paste, Screwdriver, Antistatic wrist band, and antistatic mat
Step 1: Antistatic Wristbands and Mat
make sure we clip the wristbands onto the mat like a button, or clip it onto the computers case
Step 2: Remove Front Panel (back Panel If Nessacary
in the case of your pc there should be screws to unscrew the front, and sometimes the back is necessary as it could hold where the power supply goes, which is how it is in our case
Step 3: Motherboard +cPU
we are inserting our cpu, make sure it lines up with the corners and fits in, and lower the lever
Step 4: Apply Thermal Paste
Apply a pea size dot of thermal paste, this is important for our heatsink to work best
Step 5: Heat Sink Fan
when putting the Heatsink in,
- make sure the pins on the corners are twisted so that the arrow is towards the fan.
- place the pins in the holes around the CPU, and twist the corners.
- when you see on the other side the plastic black piece is through the white plastic surrounding it, then its tightly secure.
- make sure we plug in the fan into the motherboard.
Step 6: Insert Ram
Next to the CPU, set our ram in the slot, make sure your ram lines up with the notches in the ram slot, and push it into the slot until it clicks.
Step 7: Screw in Our Motherboard
screw in our motherboard to the case in the standoff holes around our motherboard
Step 8: Put in Our Powersupply
there should be designated spot for a powersupply to fit, and screw into the case. and feed the wires through the holes
Step 9: Extra Fan
insert an extra fan through the screws of these holes, and theres a spot on the motherboard labeled where to plug it in
Step 10: Plug in Our Pins From the Powersupply, and Front Panel Connectors
the front panel connectors should all be facing the same dicrection, and the labels on the front panel connectors should help show where they set
Step 11: Finished Product
this is what our final product should look like inside, now we screw in the back and front panels and we are finished
