Creating a strong and influential brand name is a lot of hard work, and it takes an enormous amount of time. However, bear in mind that all the strong brands we know today had their own starting point, so cheer up.

Basically, creating a strong brand can be broken down into five simple steps, but in order to fully maximize the efficiency of every step, you’ll need to do a lot research and implement various tactics. So, let’s assume you’ve started your own business, have decided on a brand name and logo, defined your core brand values and value proposition, and you want to grow your brand and make it widely known. Here’s how you should do it.

Step 1: Customer Engagement

It’s important to communicate with your customers, since it will make them feel more appreciated. So, organize webinars, use periscope to create videos and add a more human touch to the entire experience, create Q & A sessions, and incite them to share their own experience and feedback.

Make sure that you have swift customer support to increase the degree of reliability of your brand, and in order to efficiently address the issues of your consumers. If you get to many calls, remember that you can outsource these services, since it will be much cheaper to maintain communications this way. The important thing to remember here is to stay in touch and communicate, to let your consumers know you care about them.

Step 2: Create a Website

You heard this one a thousand times; you can’t run a successful and well-known business without a website. Luckily, creating a website nowadays is easier than ever. You can use WordPress to design one, and you already have a variety of great themes available for purchase. All you need to do is pick the one that suits the nature of your work.

Design the website so that it can fit more information on the home page, in order to promote scrolling, because this kind of design caters to users who browse the web using mobile devices. Check out the latest design trends, and decide on how you want your website to look and which theme you want to use.

Step 3: Create Content

The next important thing you need is content. Preparing good content is about much more than merely having good product descriptions and a few well-placed calls to action – you need to go a step further.

Create a blog that has niche-oriented content that shoppers will find helpful. Use keyword phrases that denote your line of work and make sure you include your location as part of the phrase, to efficiently localize your website. Create copious and informative content at around 2500 words, so that you’ll have linkable material for guest blogging posts (it will be explained later), but also use smaller articles (500-700 words), videos and infographics, as they are more engaging.

Step 4: Sharing

The content does not need to be visible only to those who visit your site, you need to share it on social networks and incite engagement. Use account managing tools to help you organize your sharing process and to help you track engagement.

Create numerous snippets for every post, so that even when you re-share it, the post won’t look exactly the same. You can send emails to inform your users about the latest offers and deals. Use quality photography in your articles so that you can share it on Pinterest, and use exciting headlines (do not mistake this for click bait).

Step 5: Spread Your Influence

Finally, you need to spread your influence. First, you can find blogging platforms that delve into topics related to your line of work, and see if you can guest post there. You will need to reach out to some of the authors there, to negotiate the terms. Also, if you have good and relevant content on your site, as mentioned before, there is a good chance that your link will be welcomed.

Also, reach out to vloggers or other influencers in your niche, to see what it would take to be featured in one of their broadcasts. Create accounts of your own and become a respected author on other influential blogs. People love to see a rich portfolio and it will do much good for your professional image.
