Who ever said don't play with your food was wrong! An apple face is an easy and fun craft that is a good use for old apple you don't need or want!

Step 1: Supplies

You will need:
*an apple
*a knife
*beans
*black paint
*white paint

Step 2: Carve Out a Mouth

Carve half an inch into the apple and choose your mouth. Different mouths represent different emotions. For example the smile represents happy and the frown represents sad.

Step 3: Add Teeth

Make vertical lines across the whole mouth. Make the lines a quarter inch away from each line. After that, add a horizontal line in the middle of the mouth to separate the two rows of teeth.

Step 4: Add Eyes

Get the beans and paint them to look like eyes with the black and white paint. The easiest way to do it is to paint all of them white, then wait for them to dry and draw tiny black circles.
