What you will need to learn how to crochet a chain stitch

  1. yarn
  2. a crochet hook for the size of yarn

Step 1:

First tie a slip knot and put it on your crochet hook

Step 2:

take your yarn (not the tail) and wrap it around your hook

Step 3:

then Pull the slip knot loop over the yarn you just wrapped around the hook! You’re done! Easy right? Make sure to practice this before learning any other stitches
