Introduction: How to Fix a TIME Magazine Promotional 35mm Film Camera (Shutter Stuck)

I bought this TIME Promotional Film Camera at a thrift store and the shutter only closes halfway. I figured out a quick fix if your shutter is slightly jammed.

Supplies

Tweezers

Fingernail (On your finger)

Step 1: Open Top Cover

Open the top cover of your camera (Should be just two side small screws).

Step 2: Take Spring and Bend It

Take out the spring and use your fingernail or tweezers to bend the spring close the the ends (1/5th length of the spring).

Step 3: Put It Back and You Are Done!

The shortened spring will increase the tension to close the shutter with more power. This small fix has fixed my shutter.
