In this inscrutable I will show you how to fix a wire or cord that has been cut or damaged, with minimum tools and very primary skills.
Make sure the cord is completely unplugged before working on it.
Step 1: Triming Away Damaged Portion
Cut the cord on both sides of the damaged portion using pliers.
Step 2: Striping the Wire Ends and Twisting Them Together
Strip the insulation off the cord and twist them together.
Step 3: Wrap the Tape
wrap the tape around the cord a few times to seal the wires.
Step 4: Repair Is Complete!
Throughly check for any exposed wires and the tape is tight around the wire.
Test the cord by plugging it into a functional outlet.
