Introduction: How to Install Wall Display Shelf

Wall shelves are one of the best choices to make full use of spare and limited spaces. With these display shelves, you can “enlarge” room spaces, enable you store and display collectibles, travel mementos, pictures and others freely.

Step 1: Components in Packaging

Classical wall shelves normally come with one shelf board and two support brackets as a unit.

You only need install the two brackets to wall then lay the shelf board on brackets.

Step 2:

Locate the install space. Make sure the distance between two brackets at least half length of the shelf board.

Drill hole on wall by churn drill. Insert anchor and hammer smooth with wall slightly. Fasten screws and leave 0.2inch above wall.

Step 3: Hang on Brackets

Hang brackets on screws.

If they are not easy to hang on screws heads, you can adjust the screws in and out slightly by screwdriver.

Step 4: Lay on Shelf Board

Hang shelf on brackets. 

 Please note, the shelf board is just lay on brackets not fixed thus you should place collectibles on it balanced. If only on one end, it tends lose balance and drop off.

If you want to make sure shelf board will not drop, you can get some double faced adhesive tape and stick to top edge of brackets first and then put shelf board on them. Of course, there is also some drawback of this kind of installation, the shelf board can not be moved once glued with brackets.
