Introduction: How to Load Your OneCrazyStitch Color-change Dress

About: I like to make things out of other things. If it’s for someone else I am hyper detail oriented. If it’s for me, then I only care about function. Or experimental value.

This Instructable is written specifically to show how to load and fold the OneCrazyStitch color-changing dress.

Specifically, the rainbow dress skirt into the black and white overdress.

These dresses were designed by and sewn by myself, using an original pattern.

Supplies

(1) OneCrazyStitch color-changing dress

(1) Flat surface

Step 1:

Start by laying the dress on a flat surface with the line of snaps facing up.

Step 2:

Starting from the outside bottom corners, roll the Rainbow inner skirt toward the center until it creates a V.

Step 3:

Fold the bottom of the V up halfway, then fold it up again.

Step 4:

Fold up the Dots bodice back to cover theRainbow back and folded Rainbow skirt.

Step 5:

Flip the entire dress over.

Roll the sides and fold the front Rainbow skirt the same as the back side.

Fold up the Dots bodice front.

Step 6:

Attach side and top velcro strips on the Dots bodice.

Step 7:

The dress is now loaded.

You may now hang it up if you wish. If you are packing it, continue on.

Step 8:

Fold the Dots skirt up over the stuffed bodice.

Step 9:

Fold it in half.

Step 10:

Fold that in half too. Just the right size for a backpack!
