Introduction: How to Make Cheddar Bacon Muffins
In this instructable, I will show you how to make Cheddar Bacon Muffins.
Step 1: Ingredients
For this recipe, you will need:
6 slices of bacon
1 1/2 c flour
1 c milk
4 oz cheddar cheese
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp baking powder
1 c yellow cornmeal
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
Step 2: Everything Is Better With Bacon
First, cook the bacon.
Step 3: While the Bacon Is Cooking..
Grate the cheese.
Step 4: Bacon Bits
Cut the bacon into small pieces.
Step 5: Sour Milk
Pour the lemon juice into the milk, place aside for a couple of minutes.
Step 6: In a Large Bowl.
Combine the flour, corn meal, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda together.
Step 7: In Other Bowls..
Beat the egg, then combine the egg and melted butter with the milk mixture.
Step 8: Bringing Everything Together
Mix your dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
Step 9: Bring in the Bacon and Cheese.
Now bring everything together and mix until it's all combined.
Step 10: Almost Ready for the Baking
Spray your muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray.
Spread the batter evenly in the cups.
Step 11: Bake!
Bake in an oven that's been preheated to 400° for 17 minutes, or until they are done.
Step 12: Enjoy!

Hi!
I enjoyed to prepare your recipe in spite of having some problems dealing with ounces and cups, I prefer decimal measures.
The result was nice and tasteful, next time it will be better.

Ah,...my favorite ingredients, cheese & bacon! Looks very interesting & tasty! Unfortunately, I never seem to have time to make recipes right away & I "save" a promising" recipe in my 'paprika" recipe app!
One suggestion: I'd love it if you made it easier to "copy" the directions! Separating a 2 sentence "step" around" a pix, makes it very difficult to save! Paprika doesn't allow pictures (except for a single one of the finished recipe)!
Your directions are very clear & your pix are glorious, just wish they were easier to save for future use!
