Introduction: How to Make Offset 8-pin Headers for the Digital Side of an Arduino.

How to make offset pins to correct for the weird 0.16"
spacing between the two 8-pin headers on the digital side of an Arduino.

Step 1:

Buy Arduino Stackable female header pins, with extra long
legs.

Step 2: Cut Pins

Using side cutters, nibble open the female plastic housing
to release eight pins.

Cut of one leg of each fork ends as per photo.

Step 3: Assemble Pins

Plug the tails into spare header as per photo.

Step 4: Solder

Plug the assembled legs into your project board as shown, solder.

Cut the legs to length to plug all the way into header socket and trim of excess soldered pins.

Done, cheap and easy.
