Introduction: How to Make Small Obstacle Avoiding Car With L293d Motor Driver Shield in 5 Mins.

About: I AM A BEGINNER WITH ARDUINO BUT ENTERTED IN THIS FIELD WITH ENTHUSIASM

Hi there!

Myself I AM CREATIVE AND TECHNICAL, a youtuber.

Nice to meet you all!

In this topic we will learn how to make a small arduino uno sized obstacle avoidance robot.

Let's move to our project.

Step 1: Material Required

These are the following items required to make our project:

1. Arduino Uno

2. Plastic sheet

3. L293d motor driver shield

4. Ultrasonic sensor

5. BO motors

6. 65mm wheels

7. Some jumper wire

8. 35mm metal spacer with screw and nuts.

Step 2: CREATING THE BODY

First of all, we have to join arduino Uno with plastic sheet with the use of metal spacer, nuts and screws.

After that we have to attach l293d motor driver shield on the arduino UNO.

Now we have to paste both the BO motors using hot glue gun (as shown in the image).

Next procedure is to add ultrasonic sensor to arduino Uno (circuit diagram is given below in step 3).

Till here, we have almost completed our robot. We just need to add battery and both the wheels. Also we need to add a small front wheel to maintain the balance of robot..

NOTE:Join the wire according to the circuit diagram given then the step 3. If your robot getting unbalanced OR making a backflip while moving, then add a small tail.

Here your robot is ready to enjoy.

Have fun!!

In the step-3, arduino codes, circuit diagram and libraries have been provided.

Go and check them.

Step 3: CODE AND SCHEMATICS

All the codes and schematics have been provided in the description box with all the libraries.

Visit my channel for codes and libraries:

Step 4: FINAL VIEW

Our robot is ready but it may have some fault.

In my case the robot was not properly balanced that's why i have added a tail as support.

You can also decrease the speed of motor or by providing less voltage.

So, i hope you won't face any errors or problem in this project.

HAPPY CREATION!
