About: Just a Student trying my stuff

Hi, This is my first Instructables I am publishing so if any mistakes please I am sorry for it.

Well, anyway this project I decided to to do because well I wanted to make cheap machine running a day which can let the food be warm inside. I Had some cardboard lying around I decided to use it in some useful way and this is it Food warmer.

Supplies

Cardboard box lenth: 40cm x width: 50 cm x height:60cm (you can use it with another size box this is just for reference)

Cutter

Marker

Aluminum Foil

Glue gun

Light Bulb Holder

100w Light Bulb (the which emits yellow light)

1 feet wire (it depends on your length)

Two pin plug

2 x Small Wooden block (length:10cm x width: 1cm x height: 6cm)

Step 1: Step 1 : Cutting the Flaps

Our first step is cutting out the front flaps till it reaches the bigger flap size of the cardboard box.

Step 2: Step 2: Aluminum Cover

Cover the whole box with aluminum form inside using glue gun also cover the flaps with aluminum as they will be closed of to inside.

Step 3: Step 3: Putting the Heating Element

Now take two wooden block and mark the hole for bulb holder and drill the hole for it also make a bigger hole between the two for passing the wire

And mark the same hole's inside the box from left side . Attach the wire to wire to bulb holder and screw up the wooden block and bulb holder.

Step 4: Step 4 : Making the Lock and Handle

FOR LOCK :

As I was having trouble keeping the box close I decided to make lock for it so it remains shut when it is on.

So I used some leftover cardboard to make it. cut out the pieces of cardboard as I have shown in image we need two set of it though. And assemble as shown in image.

Note : I used a small sick to use it as handle for slider mechanism.

FOR HANDLE :

Take a cardboard strip and use a scale or ruler to fold it as marked on it to make a handle and stick it with glue gun
