Introduction: How to Make a Paper Airplane
Learn how to make a paper airplane!
Step 1: Acquire Paper
Begin with 8.5 x 11 in. copy paper
Step 2: Fold the Piece of Paper
Fold paper in half vertically
Step 3: Unfold Paper Then Proceed to Fold the Top Corners
Fold the corners to where they meet at the center fold
Step 4: Fold the Peak of the Paper Down to the Bottom
Fold the peak 3/4" from the bottom of the paper
Step 5: Fold the Top Corners
Fold the top corners to where they meet at the center fold
Step 6: Fold the Tip of the Folds
Fold the remaining tip over the two flaps at the center line to lock them in place
Step 7: Fold the Plane in Half
Fold to make the plane figure
Step 8: Fold the Wings
Fold the wings of the plane 1" from the bottom of the plane
Step 9: Fold the Sides of the Wings
Fold up the sides of each wing 1/2" tall
Step 10: Cut Two Slits
Cut two small slits at the back of each wing
Step 11: Finish Taping the Plane
Tape the inside of the plane so that there is no gap in the middle
