Introduction: How to Make a Paper Flexagon

Have you ever been laying in bed at 1:00 at night? Well make this flexagon and after you spin it your hands will get so tired and you'll fall asleep. If that doesn't work, get out of bed and eat a warm cookie. If that doesn't work, listen to some music. If that doesn't work, then I can't help you.

Supplies

For this project I used:

  1. A pen
  2. Scissors
  3. A ruler
  4. Some paper

Step 1: Measure 5.5 Inches Horizontally

With the ruler.

Step 2: Cut on the Line You Just Drew

Cut on the line you just drew and throw away the smaller piece of paper.

Step 3: Fold the Piece of Paper in Half Horizontally

Step 4: Do a Cupboard Fold

To do a cupboard fold, fold the ends of the piece of paper to the middle line.

Step 5: Fold the Piece of Paper Like This:

Step 6: Draw This Pattern:

Step 7: Fold on the Lines You Just Drew

Step 8: Fold the Paper Into a Triangle Shape

Step 9: Fold the Paper Into a Flexagon

Step 10: And...You're Done!
