How to Make a Paper Ninja Star

Hey guys! Junk Drawer Gunsmith here with another weapon. It's called a paper ninja star. You've probably seen one before. So, lets make one!

Supplies

You will need two pieces of paper and a pair of scissors for this one.

Step 1: Fold One in Half

Fold one piece of paper in half.

Step 2: Do It Again!

Fold it in half one more time.

Step 3: Make a Center Fold

Now fold it in the center.

Step 4: Fold Both Sides to Make a Triangle Fold

Now fold them as shown to make two triangular creases. It should make this weird shape that looks like a rifle with the barrel cut off.

Step 5: Make a Z

Now, make the same folds from step 4, except now it makes a sort of a Z shape.

Step 6: Cut Off the Excess Paper

Now, unfold the Z and cut off the paper where the crease meets the bottom of the paper. I made some marks to help you see where it should be cut. Do this on both sides.

Step 7: Make a Diamond

Fold the creases as shown on the left, then fold them so the triangles are folded inward, and it makes this diamond sort of shape.

Step 8: Repeat!

Now repeat the steps 1-7 so you have an identical diamond.

Step 9: Unfold One Diamond

Unfold one of the diamonds and put the other one in the center, as shown.

Step 10: Tuck in the Bottom Corner

Fold one corner over until you can tuck it in. You should notice it start to take shape.

Step 11: Tuck in the Top Corner

Repeat step 10, except now to the top corner.

Step 12: Done!

Now you have a nifty ninja star to embrace your inner Ninja Turtle.
