How to Make a Paper Star

The only things you need are your hands and a 1:1 square sheet of paper.

Step 1:

These are the folds that will be done. If you want a challenge you can try making the star by this step only.

Step 2:

First you need to fold the paper in quarters long ways.

Step 3:

Now you need to fold two corners that are opposite from each other and dog-ear them to the first line.

Do it again to the corners.

Step 4:

Now fold along the first line until it touches the middle line.

Step 5:

Now fold the opposite corners from you did the dog-ear fold until it touches the middle.

Step 6:

Now fold the new corners under the flaps as shown in the picture.

Step 7:

Now fold it back upon itself 3 times until it forms a triangle.

Now go back and do this 11 more times.

Step 8:

Now fold the corners into flaps until it forms a 3 sided pyramid.

Step 9:

Now keep doing this until you are satisfied with how it looks.

Step 10:

Once you get to the end and you only have one more piece, remember, this is only the beginning.

Step 11:

Now that you have finished, you can apply this to make pyramids, cubes, and all sorts of stuff. The only thing that limit you is your imagination.
