Introduction: How to Make a Radiation Hologram

In this hologram, unlike our phone hologram, we will make a hologram using the electromagnetic spectrum.

It will translate from many different internet languages.

Step 1: Our Materials

We'll need a programming complier (I used visual studio), a computer main board, a computer, snapcircuits, an AM radio, visible light projector, and arduino.

Step 2: Making the Base of the Hologram

The hologram will need a sensor, and the programming will need to be on the main board.

You will need to rig some of the functions together, like the CPU and the sensors, but it is mostly straightforward.

Just put in the sensor input and the alert to radio waves, to the actual radio.

This will form the activation sequence to shoot the message out and also we'll need to put on an internet language translator, which is extremely simple.

Step 3: Make the Snapcircuits to Broadcast the Radio Sequence

We will use circuit #376.

It is easy to do this, just look at the picture and follow the instructions.

Step 4: Link the Arduino Sensors

Just link the arduino cables to the rigged ports. Put input/output and also a pickup sign.

Step 5: Use a Translator to Send the Message

Use http://www.text-image.com/convert/ to show a picture, then get it to binary.

I also used a binary to text converter to get that, then use http://www.cepstral.com/en/demos to broadcast it with the snapcircuits.

Step 6: Get the Visible Light Transmitter to Pickup Signals From the Main Board

Use the same code as that step, then implicate it into that and if needed, rig a sensor or two.

It will most likely need a perk or two to fix the lighting, but after that, it should show up as some sort of digital transmit, not analog.

We used the waves as a likely reference, as we were lucky to get the same or about the same of digital transmit.

Step 7: Using It!

You have to broadcast the message from http://www.cepstral.com/en/demos, which was made by the internet translators, then we can get the snapcircuits to get it onto the radio.

The main board will do the signal to the visible light spec. and then it will get to the hologram part.

Note: We were not able to make a video about the hologram because of how short it transmitted

PROBLEMS:

This has some problems, where we can only do a hologram for a short period of time, and it can't be seen very well.

Also, it is difficult and unlikely you will get the same signal and wave frequency close to the other sensors, and also it is hard to position all of the pieces so the waves will be picked up accurately.

Please comment if you have a solution to any of these problems!

Step 8: UPDATE:

We've made some voice recognition software to build into the hologram base.

If you want the code, please comment for us to release it.

We'd like to mention this is an option.

Step 9: Thanks!

I'm entering this in a few contests, so thanks if you can vote!

Please post edits or any other suggestions!
