Introduction: How to Make a Shirt With Heartbeat-like Flashing Lights Using a CPX
This shirt is very unique to other clothing you might have worn in your life. There is a Circuit Playground Express which flashes to the rhythm of a heartbeat. It is very simple and perfect for new coders and fashion designers.
Supplies
You will need a shirt that you are willing to sacrifice for this build
A laptop to create the code (go on the URL link shown in the photo)
A circuit playground express
A small battery pack
Step 1: Brightness
First set the brightness to 130 to make the lights pop but not enough to blind someone. This will make your work stand out more when wearing it.
Step 2: Flashing Lights
Go into the code maker (block code) and copy down this code. This part will make sure to make the lights flash in the way of a heartbeat. There is also a faint sound whenever the light flashes.
Step 3: Putting on Shirt.
Next, you will sew the CPX onto the shirt. I found it easier to sew it onto a small piece of fabric and sew that on but there is not really a benefit unless you don't have a chest pocket on your shirt to put the battery pack in it.
