Introduction: How to Make a Simple Paper Airplane

About: Hi!, I'm a hobbyist woodworker and I enjoy working with computers and other electronic stuff.

Paper airplanes are fun, and this is the best one I have ever made.

Supplies

you will need 1 sheet of 11” by 8 1/2” inch paper

Step 1:

Fold the paper in half, and unfold.

Step 2:

Fold top corners to the center line.

Step 3:

Fold the top point down, creasing right beneath the flaps you just made.

Step 4:

Put the upper right corner on the center crease, about 1” inch above the point, crease well.

flip the point up so it's right on the center crease.

Step 5:

Flip over, fold in half, make sure the edges of the left line up perfectly with the edges on the right.

Step 6:

Open the Wings and give your plane a positive dihedral, that way the airplane will ‘auto level’.

You're done!

if you need just a bit more lift, curl the wing tips up a little.
