Introduction: How to Make a Tom & Jerry Bookends | Laser Cut | Wood Art, Gift, Home Decor
In this blog, you can try to make a Tom & Jerry Bookends. It's comprised of two 3 mm plywood(45*45cm) and some coloring. If you have a big laser cutter, you can try make one.
Supplies
MATERIALS:
- 3mm thickness plywood (45*45cm),
- Glue,
- Acrylic Marker(blue, grey, brown, orange, pink, white and black)
EQUIPMENT:
- 20W NEJE Laser Cutter
- Software: Lightburn
Step 1: Upload the File
You will need to cut and engrave(line) with this file. I use light-burn as my laser working software. Also I prepare a phone stand version of this file. If you want a phone stand, you can replace the third bottom surface becomes the two bottom surfaces of the phone holder.
Whether it is a phone holder or a book stand, the bottom surface needs three layers, which can be selected according to needs.

Step 2: Laser Cutting
You need two 3mm thickness plywood sheet(45*45cm) for this file. Otherwise, you may need to adjust your file. I used NEJE MAX 4(750*460mm). Once you adjust your settings, you can engrave and cut.
Step 3: Coloring and Assembly
Coloring the form and back layer, then use wood glue to stick them in order.
