Find a picture of an animal going long ways so you can cut it out.

Step 2: Step 3

Print your image and cartoonize it to make it look like a child’s toy

Create a template – on a piece of 1/8” plywood or much sturdier template that won’t rip

Trace your cutout on to a 2x6 blank to cutout on the band saw

Cut it out with the band saw and router all the edges with a ¼ round over bit

Sand away all the tool marks and burns with a hand sander or palm sander

Paint on the design you want, make sure to go over it with pencil first.

Glue in the axels and the wheels for you finished toy
