Have you ever been in the middle of something and needed a funnel. Either you can't find one that you have or you don't have one. You probable have a plastic bottle or jug that you can cut the top off and use as a funnel.

Step 1: Materials

Use any plastic container. I have used milk jugs, soda bottles, and juice bottles. In this Instructable, I used a one quart oil can, jug, container, whatever they are called. I am old enough to remember when oil used to come in a can. I think you can still buy it in a can, for aviation or something, but I digress.

Step 2: Tools

A sharp knife is all you need. Scissors could do the trick, but it would be a bit difficult to start the cut.

Step 3: Make the Cut

All you have to do is make one continuous cut all the way around the container. The container I used had a double ridge at the top that made it easy to make a straight cut all the way around. If your container does not have a good line to follow, you may want to make a line with a marker or a piece of tape.

Step 4: Enjoy Using Your Freshly Made Funnel

Now you have a funnel to use that cost nothing. A plastic jug that you were going to recycle now has a purpose.

Step 5: I Made a Video.

As usual, I made a video.

Thanks for watching and enjoy.
