Intro: How to Make the Awesomest Coke Jelly!

In this instructable I will show you how to make edible any drink that you like: Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, Fanta and more.

STEP 1:

It's pretty simple. Pour into a saucepan of 150 ml of water and add 30 grams of gelatin. I use Dr. Oetker Gelatin, although you can use any, the main thing that it should be flavorless

.

STEP 2:

Mix well and leave the mixture for 10-15 minutes to gelatin swollen.

STEP 3:

Prepare a few plastic cups and your favorite drinks. For the test I use the Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, Fanta and Laimon Fresh.

Fill the cups with drinks. I poured into each of about 150 ml. Wait 5-10 minutes to let the gas out.

STEP 4:

Then put the saucepan with the gelatin on low heat and stirring constantly bring to a liquid state. It will take 2-3 minutes.

The instruction says that the maximum heating temperature of gelatin is 60 degrees. Boiling is not allowed!

STEP 5:

After the gelatin is completely dissolved, it should be immediately pour into the beverage and mix well.

STEP 6:

Next, place the cups in the fridge. The freezing process takes 2-3 hours.

I think it is not worth mentioning that the cups can not be put in the freezer, otherwise you will get a piece of ice :)

STEP 7:

After 3 hours all drinks turned into a jelly mass.

STEP 8: It Looks Cool!

The taste is even better than caviar from Pepsi.

STEP 9:

okay, in step 5 you instruct to "poor immediately into beverage" - now, how much are we pouring into each cup please ? - tea spoons, tablespoons, mls .. ??? can you elaborate a bit more specifically please. thanks

What should i use instead of gelatin because gelatin is haram.

I'm sure it would! (But with different proportions, of course)

Is this gelled enough to unfold it? I am envisioning an elaborate desert with several colors/flavors.

How fun! I must try this! Best of luck!

Seems like warming up the soda a bit would help. It might slow down the process since it would take longer to set, but heating a liquid lowers the solubility of any gas in it, including CO2. Reducing the CO2 in the drink causes more carbonic acid to be converted to CO2 much quicker, therefore making the soda go flat faster- the goal of letting it sit in the first place and presumably reducing the amount of foam that forms on top.

Great idea. What you made would be called Jello in America. Soda flavored jellos would be fun. You gave me a great idea - what about making and canning soda flavored JELLY with pectin. Could it be made just like grape jelly? I'll have to try.

I too was wondering why this instructable was calling it "Jelly", since it clearly is "Jello". Yes, you can make it into jelly by adding pectin. I've done it before.

Hmmmmm. Rum and Coke??

I did this using GatorAid for the school's track team. They loved it!

Looks yummy, I'm going to try that on a small scale with some soda that I have.
