Introduction: How to Market a Product (24 Hour Watch)

In this Intructable, I will be showing you how to market a product you've created!! I will show you through a step-by-step process of how I created my product and gathered materials to make a prototype for what is now called 24 Hour Watch, After I will show you the appropriate steps for marketing your product.

Step 1: Creating Your Product

First, when creating a product, you need to brainstorm what materials you need. Then, find the appropriate materials as well as some extras you never know how much you will need. After, start assembling and putting things together to make a prototype, as shown above.

Step 2: Setting the Price

Next, when setting your product's price, you need to research the costs. How much does it cost you to make or buy? Afterward, analyze your competitors prices and understand your target market. How much will they be willing to pay? You must also use this data when setting a price for your product. Your final price should cover all costs and align with your overall business goals.

Step 3: Choose the Place

After determining a price, you must choose how to place and distribute your product. This decision requires an analysis of your target audience and your products value proposition meaning, what makes your product unique? You must also determine your pricing strategy and distribution channels... where customers can find and purchase your product! You must also choose how you will be branding and packaging your product. (if needed)

Step 4: Craft Your Promotion's

Finally, after determining the price and how to place your product, we need to create promotions. For example: a three-panel brochure, a billboard advertisement, and ads to place in various locations like stores, supermarkets, malls, etc.

You can create simple ads like the ones above by simply using ChatGPT and trying the following prompt:

"Put my image of my product on the paper in the other picture to make a brochure for my product like the one I put above showing my product image on it showcasing our advanced technology with backup generating systems!"

With this prompt, I also included a photo of the product and a photo of a paper brochure attached to the text above on the ChatGPT app.

You can also use chat GPT to create AI generated images of your product, like the images I showed of my product in the beginning of this Instructable by trying the following prompt:

"Put my product exactly how it is in the picture, on a table in a million dollar building with lots of natural lighting hitting the product"

With this prompt, Include an image of your product.
