Step 1: Method 1: Recover Deleted IMessages From ICloud Backup
If you have backed up with iCloud before then you are able to retrieve deleted or lost iMessages from iCloud backup. Go to iPhone, Tap "Settings">"General">"Reset" >"Erase All Content and Settings", enter the passcode of your device and you will see a Pop-up, click "Set up iPhone" and choose "Restore from iCloud backup", then enter your iCloud password. It will take some time to download and restore the backup on your device. However, in this method the data on your device will be overwritten by the iCloud backup and the data you add since your last sync will be lost. Use it with caution.
Step 2: Method 2: Retrieve Deleted IMessaged From Other Apple Devices
iMessages will appear on different apple devices such as iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Mac if you have activated iMessage with the same Apple ID on each device. Deleting an iMessages won't result in the loss of the very iMessages on other apple devices. Thus, if you mistakenly delete an iMessage on iPhone, you can turn to iPad, iPod or Mac to find the deleted iMessages you want. And vise versa.
