How to Remove "Heavy Power" PC253 Wire Connectors

I was redoing ceiling recess lights and discover these wago like connectors. Unfortunately, there are no release levers for reuse. I snipped off and wiggle the solid 12 gauge wires out, but seems the stranded wires are hopelessly locked.

Supplies

Any small vise clamps, Utility knife, needle nose pliers

Step 1: Clamp Down Your Work

The point is to score & ply open the caps. These connectors are extremely small, so it'll be much better to secure down

Step 2: Go Slowly & Pry Open Cap

Go around the edges, score and gently pry open the cap.

Step 3: Release Clamp and Pull

Use needle nose pliers, clamp the flat side of clamp away from stuck strands, pull other end with tweezer

Step 4: Reinsert Cap & Reuse

Once removed, clean out any loose strands before reinserting cap. Enjoy reusing your connector
