Introduction: How to Render a Tinkercad Design!

About: tinkercad designer, roblox developer & scripter, beamng.drive car crasher.

Today I will be teaching you how to render a TC project in Sketch Fab!

Let's get right into it.

:)

Supplies

  • A tinkercad account
  • A sketch fab account
  • A design you want to render

(make sure the project isn't tooo laggy, unless you have pro computer ;)

Step 1: Pick a Design You Want to Render

First log into your Tinkercad account, or make one if you don't have one. (it's pretty simple).

Then, select the design you want. I picked my profile picture which I made in tc.

When you do, don't go into like.. where you can edit and customize the design (do it if you want to add finishing touch's, because you can't edit in SketchF.)

When you click on the design in your dash board, it'll bring up something like (pic. shown). You wanna click download, then as a OBJ. file. STL doesn't show the color, so OBJ. Don't even touch SVG.

Depending on the size of the design, (and lag) the time of it fully downloading may vary. Mine took 50 seconds, lol.

NEXT STEP! yes sir!

Step 2: Go Into Sketch Fab

Again, log into your Sketch Fab acc or make one, AGAIN it's pretty simple. (lemme know if you have troubles, because I did the first time making a acc for sk)

Once your there, you should see a Orange "Upload" button (top right corner). Click it.

Then you'll be at (picture shown). Click "browse" and select the file we just downloaded, (might have to do some searching). Then upload it. It'll take again some time depending on your model.

Then click "Edit 3D settings" for a better view!

Step 3: Your Done!

Take some screen shots and yea!

Peace out :)
