Playing vinyl is a classic and fun way to play your favorite music. Whether you're new to records or just need a refresher on what to do, this simple and straight to the point guide will walk you through the basic steps to get your record spinning smoothly and safely.
Supplies
- A record player (turntable)
- A vinyl record
- Speakers (either built in or external)
- Power source
- Record cleaning brush or cloth
Step 1: Put Your Record Player on a Flat Surface
Make sure that it's leveled and stable to prevent skipping.
Step 2: Plug in the Record Player
Connect it to a power outlet if needed.
Step 3: Turn on the Record Player
Use the power switch or knob to start.
Step 4: Lift the Dust Cover
Open it gently or remove it fully if needed.
Step 5: Choose a Vinyl Record to Play
