Introduction: How to Setup Email on IPhone

This is a simple tutorial on setting up work email on your iPhone, or iOS device. The tutorial was created on an iPhone 8, and iOS 11. If you're on an older device, or software version the details might be a bit different. The purpose of this video is to eliminate requests to IT from employees to have their email added to their mobile device. By using email on your mobile device this allows you to send and respond emails while away from your desk.

You will need the following items before you begin:

1. iPhone, or iOS device.

2. Internet

3. Approximately 5 minutes

By the end of this tutorial you will have your work email installed on your iPhone.

Step 1: Step 1: Find the Settings App.

Find and touch “Settings” App. (This is a gray app with black gears inside it) Look for the red arrow in the photo pointing to it.

Step 2: Step 2: Scroll and Touch "Accounts & Passwords.

Step 3: Step 3: Touch "Add Account."

Touch “Add Account.” (Follow Red Arrow)

Step 4: Step 4: Touch "Google."

Touch “Google.” (Follow Red Arrow)

Step 5: Step 5: Input Details

Input details.

This is where you input your provided email and password. Once you get your details added you can change your password to your liking.

Thats it! You can now send email from your iPhone.

Step 6: Step 6: Putting It All Together

In this video I explain step by step how to setup your work email on your iPhone.

    Nice guide and the video is great. What application did you use to record the iPhone?

    Hey Chad thank you,

    I believe it was iOS 11 that gave the ability to screen capture on iOS. The easiest way to do this is to go to "settings/control center/customize controls" and add "Screen Recording" to the control center. You can then toggle it on and off from there. Let me know if you have any questions.
