Intro: How to Bowl Strikes in 10-pin Bowling

Hello today i will show you how to bowl strikes in 10-pin bowling
the ball i will mainly be throwing will be the c-system alpha max by brunswick i will upload some pics of it.

STEP 1: The Basics

a couple things you should know is that when you are releasing a finger tip bowling ball that means it has inserts in the finger holes your thumb should all ways come at first i will post a video of my brother doing it.

second you should always stay down after finishing your release never pop up *never pop up*

third you always want a min of at least 4 steps, right handers start on right foot end on left foot, and left handers start on left foot and end on right.
also the max steps you should have is 5 steps, righties start on left foot, and lefties start on right foot.

lastly while bowling in leagues you should never get angry or mad the best thing to do is just shrug it off or laugh about it like i do, also when bowling a strike the best way to intimidate your opponent and get pumped up about it would be just scream out yeah or something do something exciting but please do not go around bragging unless you just bowled a 300 game.

STEP 2: How to Hold the Bowling Ball

when holding the ball in the proper position for a curve you should place your hand where it is comfortable to hold it, i hold it close to my thigh.

secondly you should try to cup the ball, also as a right hander i also twist my wrist to the right i will try to show you a picture of it.

you should also always squeeze your fingers never your thumb.

when you follow through your thumb for a right hander should finish at 11 o'clock 1 o'clock for lefties

so when bringing that together you should bring the ball back straight with the ball cupped and twisted just a little release it over the foul line with your thumb coming out first and after that it should end at 11 or 1 naturally.

STEP 3: Ball Placement

ball placement on the lane is a key part of bowling.

there are different spots you should place the ball if you are a stroker, power player, tweener, or cranker, i am a power player meaning i can still get alot of revs on my ball and get it to go 17.5 mph at the same time so i stand between the 1-2 or 2-3 dots on the left side of the lane i will show you a pic, for a stroker, someone who puts few revs on the ball, i would play more on the 2-3 dots on the right side of the lane all these things im telling you is for right handers you left handers just do opposite. for a cranker, someone who gets to many revs in comparison to speed would stand on the left side in between the 1-2 dots. lasty for a tweener, with both speed and revs about equal would stand on the left in between the 2-3 dots.

STEP 4: Good Luck

well i hope you can start throwing some strikes so you  can rule all your friends i will have some videos posted up later on how to do the stuff and maybe some trick bowling videos.

There's really good advice on www.BowlingSecret.info to dramatically improve your bowling game. I went from 173 average to 220 average. I am now the best player in my league. I also bowled my first perfect game!! My average is still going up. The best thing I ever did for my bowling game was educate myself on how to score a perfect game! This must be something similar to what the pro's use to bowl 300's because my game has improved SO MUCH!

I was told about this from the bowling league director.

I Remeber when I Started Bowling All I Did Was To Throw The Ball Down The Middle Of Lane Sometimes I Get Strikes And Sometimes I Don't But I Learn Over A period Of That There Was Another Way....http://tinyurl.com/76reez4

The TINYURL link JoeS4 posted IS A VIRUS! DO NOT CLICK!!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! It gave my computer AIDs and I had to pay over $200 to get it fixed at Best Buy! Be warned - the employee told me that you should NEVER click on crazy looking links like JoeS4 posted. Lesson learned :(

Ok I just started bowling. Is there a Ball that allows for swollen knuckles The hand is strong but having trouble finding a good fitting ball..Thanks

sorry about that i will try to have some new ones by mon. or tues.
The video clips don't show much - you need a much better camera and operator to capture the technique. But you could take still photographs instead.
