How to customize quick access toolbar in MS WORD. This is very useful as you could add commands to quick access toolbar which are frequently used. This quick access toolbar in found in top of Menu bar. Follow the steps to do it yourself. 

Step 1: Go to Quick Access Toolbar and Click the Down Arrow

Take your cursor to the top of window where the quick access toolbar resides. Click the down arrow button at the end of the toolbar. 

Step 2: Click "More Commands"

From the drop down menu click the "More Commands" item

Step 3: Choose Commands to Add Quick Access Toolbar

From the Window choose commands or short cuts you want to see in the quick access toolbar. After choosing each commands click "ADD". Add your necessary commands. 

Step 4: Selected Commands Are at Right Side for Quick Access Toolbar Addition

You selected commands are showing in the right side of the window which will be placed in quick access toolbar. 

Step 5: Click "OK"

Check the "Show quick access toolbar bellow the ribbon" and then click OK. 

Step 6: See the New Quick Access Toolbar

See the quick access toolbar new looks and new commands buttons on it. The quick access toolbar is now showing under the ribbon.
