This 'ible' will show you the steps to designing and making a knex building.

Step 1: Sort Out Your Pieces.

Sort out all of your knex pieces into bags or boxes. This will save you lots of time and effort in your building process.

If you have around 1500-2000 pieces it should take a few hours to sort, 2000-3000 will take about 3-4 hours, 3000-5000 will be around 5-6 hours, and any above 7000+ will take about 8 hours+.

Step 2: Design Your Building.

You dont have to do this but it will help with your building. If you want to recreate an already exsisting building, go on the internet and search up the building you want to build, and try to recrate it.

Step 3: Build the Base.

Build the outline of the base that your building will be on.

You can build your building with any type of ro, but blue rods ar the best for making stronger, taller, bigger buidings.

Step 4: Build Up.

From your base, build up layers of your building, one by one, try and keep to your design aswell.

Step 5: Detailing. (optional)

If you want to make your building look cool, with more detail, try adding windows, a main entrance door, maybe a flag on top, ect.

Step 6: Your Finished!!

Congrats! You are finished, now you can show off your (hopefully) amazing building.
