Introduction: How to Get Food, Water and Shelter in the Wild
In this instuctable I am going to show you how to get clean water, catch a rabbit for food and build a basic shelter. This could be a matter between life and death or just prepare you for your survival trip. First I am going to show you how to separate clean and dirty water a very simple way. Then I will show you how to catch a rabbit by making a snare. Finally I will show you how to make a simple shelter to protect you from the wild.
Step 1: How to Separate Dirty Water From Clean Water
First find two jars of similar size, next find a piece of cloth.
Fill one of the jars with dirty water but leave a 2cm gap from the top.
Twist the cloth into a rope like shape and dip one end into the dirty water and one end into the empty jar.
I found that if you put the full jar higher up than the empty it will work quicker.
Leave it for one or two hours when you come back the dirty jar will have a sludgy like mixture in and the other will be full of clean water.

Step 2: How to Make a Simple Snare
This is how to make a simple snare to catch rabbits.
First find a 3 ft piece of flexible wire.
Next create a finger sized loop at one end, fix this into place by turning the excess wire around itself.
Put the long remaining part through the loop.
Find a small stick
Push the stick into the ground outside a rabbit run
Tie the wire around this.
Check it every hour as you may cause the rabbit a lot of pain as it will take a long time to die. KILL IT HUMANELY PLEASE.

Step 3: How to Make a Shelter
To build a shelter you should first find two branches with a 'v' shape at one end. Push these into the ground with the 'v' at the top.
Next find a branch that is about the length of you and an extra two feet.
Place this branch into the two 'v' 's.
Next place branches diagonally onto the longer pole on both sides ( look at pics)
Once you have done this find branches and twigs with leaves on and place these ontop of the other branches.
Finally find some big leaves and stuff these into any gaps.
Now you have a fully wind proof shelter.
