Introduction: How to Make Steam Sounds Into Skype Sounds

This tutorial will show you how to take the Steam application sounds and transfer them to Skype.

Step 1: Step 1: Go to Your Steam Files

1. Go to your C: drive

2. Open Program Files x86

3. Open Steam folder

Step 2: Step 2: Open the Friend Folder

Simple as that!

Step 3: Step 3: Open Your Skype Audio Settings

Skype > Profile > Change Sounds

Step 4: Step 4: Import the Sounds Into Skype

Import the sound files called

  • friend_online
  • message
  • voice_hang_up

into Skype.

Step 5: Step 5: Set the Sounds

Set

message = incoming IM in recent chat, incoming IM in current chat

friend_online = contact online

voice_hang_up = hang up
