I saw this one while perusing the Esquire magazine drink archives. Since it includes the delicious Bittermens tiki bitters and dark rum I couldn't help but give it a try.

Step 1: Cocktail Ingredients for a Bitter Monk
Let's make sure you've got all the ingredients you need.
1.5 oz. Old Monk Rum (or other dark rum)
.75 oz. fresh lemon juice
.75 oz. Aperol
1 dash Bittermens Tiki Bitters
1.5 oz. Old Monk Rum (or other dark rum)
.75 oz. fresh lemon juice
.75 oz. Aperol
1 dash Bittermens Tiki Bitters
Step 2: Preparation
Mount all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a cocktail coupe.
